After a tough loss against big five
rival St. Joes, the Temple Owls look to rebound against Massachusetts Wednesday
night. Despite their first loss in over a month, Temple remained in the
rankings at 25. Not only are they playing for the top seed in the upcoming
Atlantic 10 tournament, but Wednesday night is senior night for the team.
Ramone Moore, Juan Fernandez,
Micheal Eric, and Jake Godino will be honored as they begin to countdown their
final games in an Owls uniform. This season, Moore is leading the A-10 in
scoring, averaging 18 points per game. Fernandez is third on the team in
scoring averaging 10.9 points a game and leads the team in assists with 4.0 a
game. Eric is leading the team in rebounds with 8.5 a game and in blocks with
2.1 a game.
The Owls will finish their regular
season on March 3rd on the road against Fordham before the start of
the Atlantic 10 tournament. With a guaranteed high seed in the tournament,
Temple will look win their fourth A-10 tournament in five years.
